The Black Bull Inn is a 17th Century Coaching Inn standing in the main street of Wooler. It still retains much of its original character and is situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Northumberland
It is a wonderful base for walking, riding, golf and fishing. Also, ther sandy beaches and popular towns of Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick are half an hours drive away.
The inn is fully licensed and serves good homemade food, every lunchtime and evening, in the restaurant or in the bar areas.

... we enjoyed staying at the Black Bull last week. Not only were we made to feel welcome, our room was excellent, the restaurant standard was such that we had decided not to visit other establishments in the area and the beer wasn't bad either!
I'm not sure if I shall be coming up to Northumberland again ... however should any friends be contemplating a similar visit, we will tell them also to visit Wooler's Black Bull.
